 Desde el punto de partida indicado, nos dirigiremos a través de las calles del casco urbano hacia el camino asfaltado del polideportivo, siguiendo por éste, en dirección a la pedanía de La Solana, para una vez allí, tras una vista de dicha localidad y una vez contemplado el paisaje de la zona, donde destaca la Sierra de la Espada, etc; dirigirnos a la Cañada de la Leña, pedanía de Abanilla (Murcia), continuando por el camino de "La Moleta" hasta llegar nuevamente al lugar de partida (Algueña).

From the place of departure and through the streets of the urban center, we will go to the mountain known as “Alto del Tomillo”. Once on the “Camino de Tierra Blanca”, we will continue until we find the “Rita Barranco”, from where we ascend to the “Barranco del Aire”. The route will follow, once on the “White Earth” road, by stony, but passable terrain. This area is interesting because of the large number of caves in it. It is worth mentioning the panoramic views that, from the top, can delight us.

The route goes by the mountain called “Peña Gorda”, better known by the native population as Sierra de Algayat, site about a thousand five hundred meters east of the municipality of Algueña. The route is reached by the road that connects us with “El Cantón de Abanilla” (Murcia), turning left, by the first asphalted road that we find once left the town, where is located the “Village of the Herrada “(farm houses), and where we will see the first signs of orientation (kilometer 1), following which we will reach the ravine, through which we will reach the summit.
