In Algueña, the most traditional cuisine of the region is preserved, although with some peculiarities. We can emphasize the gazpachos of cake to the shovel, the gachamiga, the borreta, the paella with rabbit and snails, etc.
There is also a wide variety of tender and dry sausages, as well as sweets and pastries (perusas, almendrados, sequillos, pastizos, toñas, brandy rolls, …, handcrafted).
